About Amy
Are you feeling overwhelmed, burned out, stuck, or just… “meh”? Maybe you’re carrying grief, navigating a crisis, or feeling the weight of anxiety or depression. If life has felt heavier than usual, you don’t have to sort through it alone.
I'm Amy and I’m a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in Kansas, working with adolescents and adults experiencing trauma, crisis, grief, depression, anxiety, burnout, and major life transitions. My background includes supporting victims of crime and individuals and families in healthcare settings, where I’ve walked alongside people during some of their most vulnerable moments.
My approach is trauma-informed, person-centered, and relational. I prioritize emotional safety and collaboration — I believe you are the expert in your own life. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients build practical tools for managing overwhelming thoughts, emotions, and stress, while also making space to process deeper experiences at your own pace.
Therapy with me is warm, supportive, and real. Healing doesn’t require you to have it all figured out — it just requires a place where you feel heard and understood.
Life is hard enough as it is. If I can help ease that weight and support you in building resilience and clarity, that’s my goal.
